- I am a fully qualified Driving Instructor, covering a large area - from Elgin and Lossiemouth in the East, through Forres, Nairn and Inverness, to Ullapool and beyond on the west coast. Married to Jane, with 2 step-daughters (Rachel & Anna), 5 grandchildren (Jordan, Carmen, Charlie, Corrin and Frankie), 2 dogs (Daphne & Dolly) and Jane has 2 ponies (Dave & Lachie). Spent years and years owning or managing pubs/bars/restaurants/hotels (including The Cross Keys, Totternhoe; The Prince of Wales Feathers, Castor; The Newton Hotel, Nairn and Bunchrew House Hotel, Inverness) before deciding to become a Driving Instructor (I just wanted to teach people something and Rachel said that Inverness was short of driving instructors).... just wish I had done it much earlier.
